Trump International Scotland is a modern championship links resort set among the towering sand dunes of the Aberdeenshire coast. Designed by renowned golf architect Martin Hawtree and opened in 2012, the course was built to follow the natural contours of one of Scotland’s most dramatic dune landscapes. Fairways weave through massive dunes, elevated ridges, and secluded valleys, creating a traditional links experience that feels both rugged and visually spectacular. The course stretches to more than 7,400 yards from the championship tees and has earned recognition as one of the leading modern links courses in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

What distinguishes Trump International Scotland is the scale of its landscape. Unlike many coastal courses where the sea is visible only occasionally, the routing continually rises and falls through immense dunes with sweeping views of the North Sea and Balmedie Beach. The course combines challenging strategic golf with world-class practice facilities, luxury accommodations, and a clubhouse overlooking the links. In recent years the resort expanded to 36 holes with the addition of a second championship course, further establishing the property as one of Scotland’s premier golf destinations and a significant stop on international golf itineraries.
