Portstewart Golf Club is one of Northern Ireland's premier links golf destinations, spectacularly positioned along the renowned Causeway Coast. Founded in 1894, the club is home to three outstanding links courses, with the championship Strand Course widely regarded as one of the finest in the world. Towering dunes, sweeping Atlantic Ocean views and beautifully contoured fairways combine to create a truly unforgettable golfing experience from the very first tee.

The Strand Course is celebrated for its dramatic opening holes, which wind through some of the highest natural sand dunes in Ireland before giving way to classic links terrain shaped by the coastal landscape. Designed by Willie Park Jr. and later enhanced by Des Giffin, the course blends strategic shot-making with breathtaking scenery, rewarding creativity, precision and the ability to adapt to ever-changing sea breezes. Its international reputation was further elevated when it hosted the 2017 Irish Open, won by Jon Rahm.

Beyond championship golf, Portstewart offers visitors an exceptional club atmosphere, modern practice facilities and an elegant clubhouse overlooking the Atlantic coastline. Located just minutes from Royal Portrush and close to attractions such as the Giant's Causeway and Mussenden Temple, it forms an essential stop on any luxury golf journey through Northern Ireland, combining world-class golf with some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Europe.
