Club de Golf Costa Brava is one of the oldest and most characterful golf clubs in the region, set in the heart of the Costa Brava amid Mediterranean woodland. Founded in 1962 and designed by John Hamilton Stutt, the club now offers a 27-hole complex that combines tradition with variety. The main 18-hole course is particularly notable for its contrasting layout: the front nine winds through narrow, tree-lined corridors of pine and cork oak, demanding precision and careful shot-making, while the back nine opens into flatter terrain with wider fairways that allow for a more relaxed and flowing style of play.

The course is known for its strategic balance, where accuracy is key on the tighter opening holes and length becomes more relevant on the outward stretch. Natural features such as streams and gentle elevation changes add to the challenge, while the routing finishes beside a traditional Catalan farmhouse clubhouse dating back to the 19th century. This blend of technical variety, historic atmosphere, and scenic surroundings makes the course enjoyable for a wide range of golfers, offering both a thoughtful test and a distinctly authentic Costa Brava golfing experience.
